I found myself on the wrong side of this pond to capture the shot I envisioned. Plus there were other shots on the side of the pond I was still at that I wanted to capture, that would take me away from that other side of the basin to which I looked at with a photographers curiosity. But my gut told me if I traveled over to the other side of the pond with the sun still at a point in the sky that would accentuate the reflections off the water if the cloud cover didn't get any heavier, I would be probably be rewarded with a really great shot. This is why I trust my gut so much.
