Birds eye view
After giving me all those nice shots of him off to my right that you just saw, this little guy hopped around behind my back and out of sight. So I zoomed my lens all the way out and trained it on the group of swallows gathering on the branches of a tree fallen over into the lake about 30 yards away from me on my left.
Then this little guy came back from being behind me on the ground and flew up into the branches above my head and looked down so he could get a better look at me, while I got a better look at him with my lens. Pretty and curious! How fascinating.
