This riding thing on momma's back looks like a great idea, says baby number two, I want in!

  • It had been a week since we buried mom, and in that time I had managed to take care of the first big wave of post burial tasks. I hadn't taken many shots since mom fell ill in April, and now with that 'to do' list shrinking I wanted, for the first time this year, to spend a whole day photographing. I decided to go out to Prospect park and see for my first time ever what the spring season does for the famous Brooklyn landmark. <br /> <br /> Making my way towards one of my favorite spots I first had to wait to let this mini conga line of mallards pass on their merry way in front of me. Turned out in the next photograph, I'm glad I did.
  • Lover's stroll
  • The lake at the Audubon Center is one of my favorite spots to visit in Prospect Park. Today I captured several really nice candid shots, as well as a pair of geese and the goslings.
  • Floating along next to mom and pop is nice, but why tucker out your little baby feet when you can hitch a ride instead?

  • Momma here was slowly turning from graceful swan into an aircraft carrier, but she certainly didn't seem to mind.
  • Now this is living - sunshine a gentle breeze and a downy floating pillowcase to ride around on. Can life get any better?
