Here I am back at Clove Lakes a month later to check in on our nesting pair of herons, to see how many chick's they have this year, and how they are doing. I've come to see that the male likes to come to this spot to hunt in the, morning while his better half tends to the eggs/ chicks. So I stopped at this spot first before heading towards their nest.
