I wasn't sure what this young man was having such difficulty with, as I could seeing him definitely struggling with something at waters edge. When I asked him he said he was having a devil of a time trying to remove his fish hook out of the head of the fish he just caught.
Not wanting to hurt it any more than it was with this hook near it's eye, he really worked hard at set it free. I would have stayed longer to see if he succeeded, but I had a date with a heron's nest and I wanted to get to it in case something really interesting happened. So I never was able to find out how this man and the fish saga turned out.
I hope for the fishes sake he succeeded.
