One day while rummaging thru my basement I discovered that I had failed to rescue my old manual focus 20mm nikkor from it's dank fungus creating prison down there. Luckily the original desiccate gel and UV filter took the brunt of my absent minded 11 year assault on this once prime piece of Nikon glass. So after cleaning it up and finding it in surprisingly good condition I dropped it in my camera bag to see what teeth it still had while I waited to save up enough money to get it cleaned professionally. When I reached this spot at Prospect park, I knew I was never going to get a better opportunity to find out what the ol' girl had left optically.
