Taking the week off mostly so I could take pictures, this particular day I decided was going to be another "candid's only" day for me, and chose to spend it first in Washington Sq. park, then after I felt I'd gotten enough shots there I'd spend the rest of the day roaming around in Central Park. But as I was riding the subway up from Washington Sq. I remembered how many people friendly places the city created on Broadway, and decided to get off early, and walk my way up the great wide way until I reached the park on 59th street, and see what I might come across.
Well right in front of the World's biggest and most famous store, they were having a public chess match. The champ (in the black cap and white tee shirt) took on all challengers. "Take on the champ for $5", the sign read "and win a prize". Good luck winning that prize, he's champ for a reason.
