Madison ave bridge

I draped my coat over my head to remove the reflections off the glass so I could capture this scene of the Madison ave bridge on 135 street just after we pulled out of 125th street. I did it for my brother who like me no doubt have warm nostalgic memories of this scene from our childhood as we travelled to and from Mt. Vernon on the Hartford New Haven line back in the 60's.

  • Certainly this is not the most photogenic shot I've taken here at Greenwood cemetery thus far. It is however a fine example of the kind of fine detail I'm now capable of recording when I shoot a panoramic image with my D810. You can almost count each individual leaf on the trees.
