While Ricia was busy admiring the many wood carving artists at the exhibit, I looked out this window and admired the mixture of tall grass, nice fall colors and the valley beyond. I could tell from this glance that the best way to capture the scene to which I was currently gazing, was to climb up on the roof on a beautiful fall morning and photograph this in the warm early morning light. Being on the roof would allow one to take in the lovely valley beyond. With that combination of composition and lighting, the shot would probably be stunning.
However in reality, such a photo opp was beyond my hopes of attaining, so I paused for a moment to wonder whether the view in the middle of the day back here on the ground was worth going outside to capture, and I took a shot or two to give me an idea of what I really had here artistically. Seeing my (probably) intent stare out the window, Reesh stopped by my side and said we could go out back after she was done visiting all the artist booths, so I could get some more shots.
