  • You know for ISO 10,000 this is not bad image quality at all. I was led to believe low light high ISO situations were one of the area's where the D810 stank, but so far it has performed well above my expectations at this, and is light years better than what I was getting out of my D300.

  • I came to Roosevelt Island this afternoon to hopefully capture pictures of the Macy's fireworks. After staking out a good spot, like so many here did, we all discovered once the fireworks started that our view was totally blocked.<br /> <br /> But unfortunately for everyone, it didin't matter if we had staked out a spot on the other side of the 59th street bridge. Police had blockaded off the whole other side of the island, so no one could get a birds eye view no matter what. Boy what waste of a day.

  • As Curtis and I walked towards all the famous monuments in our nations capitol, we past by Capital Hill, so I briefly stopped and took a few photo's. It's even more impressive in person.
