DSC_8074 fall comes to Clove Lakes

  • Twenty-nine years ago I came to this same location and used this same 135mm Nikon lens to capture this Manhattan skyline at dusk, as part of a multi exposure scene on Fuji slide film. This time my lens was attached to a digital camera and I captured the scene as a panoramic shot. It was quite a trip back in time for me as I captured this scene.

  • If there is one picture I took this autumn that sums up the colors of this disappointing fall season it would this one. Dull dead brown. No pop no color, leaves turning brown dying right on the branches. But it is what it is and we shoot what we've got, and appreciate it for what beauty it does possess.
