I was at Silver Lakes taking pictures of a most unusual tree this afternoon. It's lower branch was literally parallel to the ground, no more than a foot above it, and had flower buds growing off the end of it. I had to photograph it.

As is often the case my camera and tripod attracted several on lookers, one of which came up to me and struck up a conversation while I was shooting. His name was Abraham , and he's a chef who owns his own restaurant, and he asked me if I'd mind taking a few pictures of him for his food website. I had my other camera sitting in my bag, and said, yeah what the hey. And I took a few shots and sent them to him a few days later..

Now if any of you are curious he can be found on YouTube, his name is Abraham Balderas Nanco. Who knows, maybe you'll discover he has a flair for the kitchen.
